Thomas is responsible for the origination, execution and distribution of primary fund raisings and secondary transactions in Asia Pacific. He has been in the finance industry for over 20 years with experience across direct investments, capital raising, advisory and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Eaton Partners, Thomas was with UBS Asset Management for over 13 years, where he was most recently a Portfolio Manager and Executive Director of the direct infrastructure funds management business for Asia Pacific. He was a member of the founding team that incubated UBS' global infrastructure funds management business in 2005. Prior to this, he was part of the UBS Investment Bank where he consulted on governance and risk controls of the business within Asia Pacific. Before joining UBS, Thomas held consulting and advisory roles with Arthur Andersen in Sydney and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong. He began his career as a management trainee with the National Australia Bank in Sydney.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Commerce with Majors in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sydney, and his Masters of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from the Australian Graduate School of Management. Thomas is a qualified Australian CPA.
