Private Credit Origination Team
Jeff is the Co-Head of Private Credit and has a leadership role in the origination, underwriting and project management of Eaton’s private credit-related offerings. He works closely with clients on marketing strategy, collateral design and product positioning. Jeff also focuses on product origination within Eaton’s Private Equity silo. Jeff has been with Eaton Partners for over 13 years and has 23 years of financial services experience, 18 of which have been spent in alternatives. Prior to joining Eaton Partners, he worked at Capital Dynamics, a Swiss-based private equity advisor and funds platform. There he focused on screening and recommending private equity strategies for institutional clientele. Previously, he worked at GE Equity, a unit of GE Capital, in originating and underwriting new business with regard to GE’s direct venture and growth capital investments. He began his career in 1994 with Bankers Trust in asset management, followed by three years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.

Chrystalle is a senior member of the direct investments group within Eaton Partners, and is involved in the origination, distribution and project management of the firm’s direct offerings. She works closely with clients on marketing strategy, collateral design and product positioning. She has over 17 years of financial services experience, 15 of which have been spent marketing investment products to institutional investors. Chrystalle is the author and co-author of several articles on raising institutional capital, which have been featured in Absolute Return, Bloomberg Markets and HFM Investor Relations.
Prior to joining Eaton Partners, Chrystalle was Senior Investor Relations Associate at QFS Asset Management, a $1.4 billion systematic global macro hedge fund. Previously, she was part of the Business Development Services and Fixed Income Product Management teams at Goldman Sachs Asset Management where she focused on marketing and client servicing. She began her career at Lazard Asset Management in accounting and later joined the institutional marketing group.
Chrystalle graduated cum laude from New York University Stern School of Business, where she received a BS in Economics and International Business and was a Stern Scholar. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds Series 7, 63 and 31 licenses with FINRA.Chris Lerner Partner Shanghai, CN
Chris Lerner is a global Partner and Head of Asia for Eaton where he leads the origination and execution of fundraises, secondaries and strategic advisory. Chris has over 18 years’ experience in private markets investments and investment banking with over $15 billion in completed transactions.
Prior to joining Eaton Partners, he was a Managing Partner for Mercer Street Capital, an independent investment and cross-border strategy consulting firm based in US and China. Chris began his career with Citigroup and its predecessor firms, Salomon Brothers and Smith Barney. He was the firm’s first investment banking expatriate based in Mainland China and helped established the Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Group. Later, he worked on the corporate buy-side in strategic planning and M&A, including for The Timberland Company where he completed the first four acquisitions in that company’s history.
Under Chris’ leadership, Eaton has been the recipient of numerous industry accolades in Asia including Private Equity International’s fund placement firm of the year for two consecutive years, as well as secondary advisor of the year.
Chris received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Tufts University. He also earned a Certificate in Mandarin Chinese from the College of Foreign Languages in Beijing. He holds Series 24, 7, 63 and 79 licenses with FINRA. Chris is also licensed with the SFC in Hong Kong and registered with the FCA in the United Kingdom.

Charlie founded Eaton Partners in 1983 and was a pioneer of the “placement agent” concept. Previously, he was in research and institutional sales at Mitchell Hutchins, Morgan Stanley, and H.C. Wainwright & Company, where he was a partner at the time Wainwright was ranked the top institutional research firm in the country. He began his career as an investment research officer at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company (predecessor to J. P. Morgan Investment Management).
Charlie graduated from Washington and Jefferson College and received an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He holds Series 7, 63 and 99 licenses with FINRA. He served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Armor branch. Charlie is a former trustee of Washington and Jefferson College. He has also served as Campaign Chair of The Darien Community Fund and is presently actively involved with Operation Comfort of San Antonio and The Wounded Warrior Project, both for severely wounded vets.Andrew Cox Vice President London, UK
Andrew Cox is a Vice President on our Project Management and Origination Team in Eaton’s London Office. Prior to joining Eaton Partners, Andy spent 15 months working at Quest Fund Placement in London as a Project Manager and four years at J.P. Morgan in Corporate & Investment Banking. Andy also served four years in the British Army as a Captain in the Parachute Regiment.
Andy earned his Bachelor with Honours in Business Administration from the University of Bath. He is licensed with the FCA in Europe and also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses with FINRA.Ryan Kane Vice President Chicago, IL
Ryan focuses on the distribution of the firm’s private equity, private credit, real asset and real estate fund distribution. He has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Eaton Partners, Ryan was Vice President at Dearborn Capital Management, where he was responsible for the distribution of the firm’s alternative investment strategies. Previously, he worked as an analyst at a boutique research firm, where he focused on commodity markets research. Ryan began his career on the equity desk of a proprietary trading firm.
Ryan received his BA in Economics from Indiana University. He is a CAIA Charter Holder and holds Series 7, 22, 31, and 63 licenses with FINRA
